Interior Illusions is a furniture store and design showroom that I have been in cahoots with since I moved to LA. Mike, the owner and I go way back. We did a pop up gallery show in his old showroom many years ago that was such an adventure and experience, and I have furnished many of my homes with his items. I approached him recently about working together to create content for his ever growing brand. The images are my little team rocking up to the showroom and shooting during business hours creating video content and still imagery that captures the brand that I am oh so familiar with and enjoy. The goal was to get a feeling for the hollywood space that is such a beautiful showroom as well as introduce the more pop merchandise that has become big sellers. He wanted to show the feeling of luxury in an approachable way. It was all more about a feeling than items. The use of models and fashion to build the layers of the photos gave a bit more depth and lux to it all. We just had a fun day creating!
